Our History

Founded by a group of passionate IT students in 2012, ELITES began as a study circle and has grown into a full organization that hosts workshops, hackathons, and community outreach programs. We've helped over 200 students develop their technical and professional skills.

What is ELITES?

ELITES is the Exemplary League of Information Technology Students — a student-run organization focused on learning, collaboration, and building tech projects under the IT, Data Science & Com-Tech Department.

Who can join?

All undergraduate students enrolled in the Information Technology, Data Science & Computer Technology programs at Bulacan State University are welcome. Membership is open to interested students each semester.

How do I become a member?

Attend the orientation, fill out a membership form (shared during orientation), or contact the officers via the Contact page for more details.

Are there any fees?

Any membership or event fees (if applicable) will be announced before events. Basic participation is usually free; special workshops and seminars are completely free.

What kind of activities does ELITES organize?

Workshops, hackathons, seminars, mentorship sessions, community outreach, and collaborative student projects.

How can I contribute to the blog?

Official student members can contribute by submitting drafts through the Insights committee or email the editorial lead. Use the Contact section to express interest.
